Find Your 8-Week AI Experiment

Make AI serve you, rather than you serving AI.

23 August 2026 · 45 minutes · online · pre-work for the programme

By the end, you can say out loud

  • 01

What do I actually want to change right now?

  • 02

Where in that can AI help me?

  • 03

Which judgements do I not want to hand over?

  • 04

What small experiment am I starting next?

Why are we here?

“I know AI matters. I have tried ChatGPT. But how does it actually get into my life and my work?”

Not to teach you ten tools, and not to rank the models. What stops most people is not a missing tool.

The usual question

What can AI do?

The real one

How can AI serve me?

Agency-Centered AI

Agency is not only being able to use AI. It is still knowing where you want to go, being able to choose, to act, and to own the result.

02Opening · 2 min

A small, human-centered co-creation lab.

WoMen AI Lab explores how women can cultivate creativity, connection, and agency in the age of AI. This is a safe and brave space.

We do not all feel the same way about AI. Some of us are excited, some resistant, some already use it every day, some still feel they have not really got in yet. All of that is fine.

Today is not about getting everyone to use AI the same way. It is about finding what AI being genuinely useful looks like, in your life.

04Start With You · 3 min

Question 1 of 3

What is the one thing consuming most of your time and energy right now?

What have you long wanted to change, and it still has not happened?

  • 01Close your eyes. What is it?
  • 02When did you last feel this? Go to one specific moment.
  • 03How does it feel in your body when you are in it?
It might be
  • Something at work that repeats every single week
  • An idea you keep putting off
  • Plenty of information, never any clarity
  • Wanting to write, make, or say something, and struggling to start
  • One genuinely annoying step in your workflow
  • A decision you need to make and keep avoiding
05Start With You · 2 min

Question 2 of 3

Why does this matter to me?

What sits behind it is usually not efficiency.

It may be closer to
  • I want more of my own time back
  • I want to start creating again
  • I want my ideas to be seen
  • I do not want to stay in the preparation stage forever
  • I want to prove to myself that I can build something
  • I want more choices while everything is changing
06Start With You · 3 min

Question 3 of 3 · not about AI yet

Eight weeks from now, it has changed. What is that like?

You do not know how. You have no idea what happened. But it is the ideal state now.

  • 01What do you see, do, hear, smell?
  • 02And then: how does that feel?
Not "more efficient". Be specific
  • Two hours a week no longer spent sorting material
  • An idea turned into a prototype you can show someone
  • A career choice you can make more clearly
  • The first issue of your newsletter, sent
  • Your own personal site, live
  • Never starting from a blank page again
07From GenAI to Agency · 2 min

Write it down

Over the next eight weeks, I want AI to help me ____________, because ____________.

Then share it with the person next to you, or post it in the group.

Agency is not a feeling. Agency is the moment you actually start.

08Built in public · 4 min

What we built, and whether it actually gave us more agency.

Family support

An AI companion for a parent

Built for one person at home. It went on to prompt another member of the cohort to build her own.

Creativity

The Beethoven project

Not productivity. A different register altogether: creativity, and something closer to the spiritual.

Productivity

Automated content workflows

Recurring, scheduled, consistent in format. Hours given back, every week.

And a good few more. We will talk through others live.

All of it built in the last eight weeks

The agency check

After using AI, do I have more choices, more creative power, more ability to act?

If AI makes things faster but leaves me less and less sure why I am doing them, that is not necessarily agency.

If AI helps me take a first step I did not dare take before, and do something that was previously out of reach, then even if the result is imperfect, it may genuinely have increased my agency.

09Built in public · 3 min

If we were not doing this together, we might end up doing nothing.

Sharing the joy is what keeps us going. And it stops being only about my own pain points, once it also helps someone else move.

Why
  • InsideWe make each other braver. Nobody has to work it out alone.
  • OutsideWe build in public, so the people watching can start too.
How
  • Peer support
  • Shared momentum
  • Co-creation
  • Building in public
What
  • Group chat
  • Gatherings
  • Notion
  • GitHub and social, an open community
10How we co-create · 6 min

How do we co-create with AI, together?

Click or press → to reveal · 0/5

  • 01 Start creating. Stop researching, investigating, talking, panicking.

We know it is hard, scary, huge, that it looks like a mess, and that you do not know where to start.

  • 02 You do not have to do it all alone.

AI first. AI is your best teacher for using AI. Learn from the best builders out there: open source, GitHub. Learn from the people one step ahead of you.

  • 03 Keep going with a training partner or a study group.

You are still the one lifting the weight. Partners make it easier to keep showing up. Double the gains, half the pain. An agreed rhythm is what gives you momentum.

  • 04 Co-create. Look for synergy.

Think with your peers, then create with AI. We build on each other's ideas and bring back feedback and expertise.

  • 05 See and be seen.

A deeply human community with AI as the tool. AI serves you, you do not serve AI. Productivity, yes. But we would rather nourish your creativity.

11Become AI native · 3 min

Become AI native, from today.

Good taste and judgement about what to delegate and what to keep human. And starting sooner rather than later.

  • We are all still very young with AI. This is exactly the right moment to shift the mindset.
  • Learn to tame AI, now.

F

Task fit

"I want to use AI more, but I do not know which problem to solve." Then not having the problem is the problem, and that is worth its own conversation.

L

Learning capability

It grows if you keep learning, absorbing, and actually using AI well. It drops if you never try.

D

Dependency

Good taste and judgement about what you delegate, and what you keep human.

g

General growth brought by AI

Moore's Law is the golden rule of the electronics industry: from watching an emerging trend closely, Moore extrapolated that computing power would rise exponentially while relative cost fell. It became a springboard for innovation.

Intel · Understanding Moore's Law

C

Compound growth

When human ideas, collective expertise, and AI build on one another, growth stops being linear and starts compounding.

12Why now · 2 min

Five years of waiting is not five years of standing still.

100 125 150 175 200 2026 2031 2036 2041 2046 YEAR DURABLE CAPABILITY INDEX A · 198 B · 120 C · 100 A · starts 2026 · r 3.48% B · starts 2031 · r 1.22% C · never adapts 2031
Step 1 · annual rate

r = g × F × L × (1−D)

How much of the external AI opportunity you can actually turn into durable annual capability growth.

Step 2 · compound

C = 100 × (1+r)n

Everyone starts from the same 2026 index of 100 and compounds for n years, where n is 2046 minus the year you started.

A twenty-year thought experiment, not a forecast. A and B each have their own start year, F, L and D. Only g, the external AI opportunity, is shared. C does not adapt and stays at the common starting index of 100.

13Closing · 2 min

We are not trying to get anyone to master every AI tool. We did one thing today: start from a real problem of your own, decide where AI should help, and name the next step you are taking.

We are looking for you, who

  • know what you care about
  • choose deliberately how you use AI
  • turn ideas into action
  • keep your own judgement and your own responsibility
  • learn, experiment and share alongside other people

WoMen AI Lab is a small, human-centered co-creation lab exploring how women can cultivate creativity, connection, and agency in the age of AI.
